Policy update


You said you loved it.

We always did request reservations and provide table service.  The further steps we've taken throughout the pandemic to protect our staff and guests have proven safe, convenient and very popular. 


At this stage, there will be no change to the way we operate.


We will still:

  • Operate on a reservation-only basis
  • Provide table service
  • Request face covering on the way to your seats and whilst walking around the building
  • Sanitisation stations will remain



What happens if there's another 'lockdown'?


Table Reservation


If we're unable to open:

We'll notify you by email as soon as we know.

We will cancel your booking with no cost to yourself.

You may rearrange online at a time that suits you, post-lockdown.


If local or travel resrictions prohibit you from attending:

Notify us before 24 hours prior to your booking ( at the very latest ) to avoid our failed booking penalty.


Cocktail Classes and Private Hire Events (when permitted)


If we're unable to open:

We'll notify you by email as soon as we know.

We will rearrange your booking with no further cost to yourself, at a mutually agreeable time.

We do not offer refunds , so please do not book , if you are unable to remain as flexible as us.


If local or travel resrictions prohibit you from attending:

If the booking fails because of a government enforcement prohibiting you to attend,

we would do our best to work with you and reschedule your date, but would not consider a refund.

Terms and Conditions of Table Reservation


You agree that due to our ever-changing social landscape, IT MAY BE NECCESARY FOR HIDDEN ROOMS TO CANCEL your booking at anytime, with or without giving any reason at the time of cancellation.


While we apologise, in advance for any inconvenience or disappointment this might cause, we will not be held liable for your direct or indirect costs or damages arising as a result of such a cancellation.


We do however promise to give as much notice as possible in such an event. Any monies that we hold in lieu of this booking will be refunded.


Face Coverings:

Our staff will be wearing masks and / or face shields. Please join in and wear a face covering at all times; on your approach to our venue and whilst walking around our venue.

You do not need a face covering when seated at your table.


Distance from other guests:

Please do not move furniture or sit anywhere other than your designated, reserved area and maintain social distance if needing to move around the venue.


Sanitise:

Please make regular use of the hand sanitisation stations, located at convenient points throughout the venue. 


Table service:

On arrival, you will be shown to your allocated area, we take your order and bring drinks to your table. 

Bills are settled at the end of your stay, prior to departure.

We do not charge a service fee ever.

Staff retain 100% of any tip you might feel comfortable to leave them.

DO NOT approach the bar at any time.


Last orders:

In accordance with new covid-safe hospitality law, you must vacate the venue when instructed to do so.


Reservation Only:

We are unable to accomodate 'walk-ins' at this time. 

Please reserve online. See specific t&c's below.

You must reserve your space for 2 - 6 guests in total. 

The area reserved is for your party of 6 or less. 

Any additional guests therefore, will not be permitted entry.

Reservations close at Midday on a Friday for Friday evening and midnight on a Friday for a Saturday Evening.

If you arrive early, we might not be able to serve you until your alloted time frame. 

If you arrive very late or not at all, there will be a surcharge.


Reservation Agreement Fee:

For parties of 2-4 Guests:

We authenticate your payment card to the value of £10 per person, on confirmation of your online booking,

An authentication does not hold funds against your credit limit. 

No transaction will show on that card, unless the terms of the agreement are broken by you. 

For parties of 4+ Guests: (maximum 6)

We impliment a minimum spend.  See booking policy for details during booking process.


Smoking:

Barely any of our guests smoke these days, which is very welcome, but during our Covid-safe restrictions, i t would be impossible to facilitate the ins and outs of a smoker's journey through our venue, so we ask you to kerb the tobacco for the time-being. 


Readdmission:

We would be unable to accommodate unscheduled 'popping out' to the shops.  So please plan your stay with us carefully.


Toilets:

We will operate a one out, one in policy.  This could take a while!


Departure time: 

To ensure fairness to all clients, you need to vacate your reserved area promptly at the end of your allotted time. 

Please ensure guests are aware of this condition.


Decorations: 

No decorations permitted.


Catering: 

No catering permitted. This covers any form of confectionery including cake.


Fancy dress: 

We do not allow any form of fancy dress including feather boas.


Music and dancing policy: 

We’re NOT a night club. We play music at background levels. 

Our Cocktail Lounge, with low-key soundtrack adding warmth to the atmosphere, encourages friendly conversation. 

The Cocktail Lounge is not suitable for dancing. 

Please ensure you inform all of your guests, as we would not want anyone to be misled.


Cancellations: 

Failure to attend your booking, late arrival, incorrect cancellation procedure, inappropriate guest behaviour will result in forfeiture of your reservation agreement fee.
